Science
Science is a methodical analysis of the manners and nature of an object and the natural universe founded around laws being measured, experimented with, observed, and formulated. The three main subjects of science are Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
Chemistry
Chemistry is a branch of science that deals with the study of matter and the substances that compose it. It also deals with the properties of these substances and the reactions undergone by them to form new substances. Chemistry concepts mainly include atoms, ions, molecules, reactions, and the structure of the compound. The answer to chemistry questions must comprise atoms, structure, properties, and reactions. The answer must be written in a flow that consists of related molecules, their physical and chemical properties, reactions with certain elements, reactions, and then their applications. If necessary the diagrams related to the structure of compounds can be drawn. These points when included in the answer give a complete idea of the concept and hence complete the answer.
Physics
Physics is a branch of science that deals with the study of how matter and energy interact with each other and how they affect each other over time and space. Physics concepts include diagrams, formulas, equations, derivations, graphs, numerals, and examples. While answering physics questions one has to make a note that the introduction for that answer is given and then the main body of the answer is explained. The flow of the answer must be like definition, explanation of the main question asked with diagram and equations if necessary and must end with appropriate examples. The numerical answer must comprise the given parameters, formula, equation with a solution, and then the final answer with the standard units. The answer looks complete and well presented if these steps are followed.
Biology
Biology is the branch of science that deals with the study of living organisms, their origins, anatomy, morphology, physiology, behavior, and distribution. Biology is a subject that mainly focuses on scientific names, classification, various parts of organisms, locomotion, and diagrams. The answers to questions in biology must include its definition, to specific part or class where it belongs, an explanation of various parts with specified diagrams and their usefulness to the body of the organism or environment, and must end with examples. The subject has a wide range of examples for every concept with related structural diagrams. When the answer comprises these points then it seems to be a well-structured answer.
Stepwise marks allocation
The answers the student writes in an examination are allocated stepwise. For instance, a long answer type question has been structured in a manner where each step is like a definition, diagram, equation, graph, and example. The marks will be equally divided for these parameters. Just writing a lengthy answer for pages together will not gain full marks. Well-structured and designed answers help in scoring well. The presentation of these answers matters a lot to the examiner.
Students practicing and writing answers to the various questions from different books and sample papers gain the knowledge of writing well-defined answers. Solving more and more numbers of questions from their prescribed syllabus and academic curriculum helps them to score higher marks just by learning how to present the answer. The presentation of answers leaves an impression on the examiner and the main keywords for the answer aid in scoring good grades.
